Each has solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with accented lips,blonde mohair "flottante" style wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 (head). Comments: French, circa 1885. Value Points: the all-original pair, one with rare painted yellow stockings and black two-lace shoes wears burgundy silk dress and undergarments, the other has painted white stockings and blue two-lace shoes and is wearing aqua silk dress and muslin undergarments.
