4" (10 cm.) All-velvet covered puppy in seated pose, resting on front haunches has light brown coat with painted black spots, black bead eyes, stitched ears and tail, and carries a woven basket with pincushion cover in his mouth. With original Steiff (underscored) button in ear. Germany, Steiff, circa 1910. Excellent condition, slightly dusty on pincushion cover.
