Description
8.5" (22 cm.) Each is all bisque figure depicting a cheerful-faced Dutch child painted in shades of grey and blue, including an 8.5" standing girl holding four eggs in her apron, the tops cracked open for use as candy container, and a pair of seated boy and girl with side-glancing eyes gazing at each other. Condition: generally excellent, standing girl missing left thumb. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark on seated pair). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: realistically sculpted characters with most appealing expressions, well detailed modeling of costumes.
