Description
9" (23 cm.) Each has felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, side-glancing "O" shaped eyes, long lashes, rosebud- shaped closed mouth, muslin torso and legs, felt jointed arms. The girl has blonde mohair wig and wears her original organdy gown trimmed with lattice-design teal felt and colorful felt flowers, undergarments, teal felt bonnet and shoes, and the boy wears felt Tyrolean style costume with brown felt hat trimmed with feather and flowers. Condition: generally excellent, few moth holes on hat of girl. Marks: (each has original Lenci tags). Comments: Lenci, circa 1935. Value Points: imaginative and well preserved and detailed costumes.
