Pressed bisque socket head with plump facial modeling and very poale bisque, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows with delicate shading, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with richly shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blushed chin, cheeks and earlobes, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body with pewter hands, fine antique costume includes brown leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: P 5 D. Comments: Petit & Dumoutier, circa 1882, the firm produced bebes for a few years only. Value Points: very lovely and rare to find bebe in fine large size, very fine quality of bisque and painting, original unique body.
