8.5" (22 cm.) Shaved golden mohair teddy with one-piece head and torso, jointed arms and legs, shoe- button eyes, has a mechanism in his stomach that can be keywound from brass-lined hole at his side torso. Silver skates are attached to his feet and he holds a red wooden balancing rod in his hand. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: GBN (tin tag in right ear) DRP DRGM (tin tag on side torso). Comments: Gebruder Bing, the bear was created by the firm in 1912. Value Points: rare early mechanical bear in excellent state of function, original skates, labels.
