Description

18" (46 cm.) Each has bisque socket head, brown or blue glass sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach Koppelsdorf 250 Germany (larger 18" doll) Armand Marseille Germany 390 A 2/0 M (smaller 13" doll). Comments: circa 1920. Value Points: in pristine unplayed with condition, the dolls wear their original folklore costumes, including original shoes signed Matthes Berlin, from the famous Berlin toy shop which exclusively commissioned and offered the costumed dolls.
