20" (51 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial complexion, features and softly curled brown baby hair, shaded green eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with pouty lips, stockinette body with separately stitched arms, cloth ring neck, loosely attached legs. wearing rose cotton dress and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, few water spots on knees. Comments: Kathe Kruse, the model known as "Du Mein", circa 1925. Value Points: beautiful facial painting of plump faced baby with artistically painted features, softly blushed cheeks and ears.
