13" (33 cm.) Brown-complexioned bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark painted lashes and brush stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair fleecy wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique batiste dress with bretelle sleeves, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent, small flake at piercing hole of right ear. Marks: S 5 H 939. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare brown complexion with beautiful patina on the early 900 series model, original body and body finish, rare petite size.
