10" (25 cm.) (Box 28" x 16" opened). A heavy cardboard box with lithographed paper cover hinges open to reveal its original well-fitted interior, comprising a bisque-head doll with blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, four teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition body with jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A.D. Bouchet 3. Comments: Adolphe Bouchet, circa 1893. Value Points: the bebe is arranged in its original presentation box, wearing muslin chemise, along with silk dress and bonnet, various accessories, and an arrangement of dollhouse chairs upholstered in matching blue silk to the bebe's dress.
