19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly-parted lips, two square-cut upper and one lower teeth, brunette mohair wig, pierced ears, early composition and wooden body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent, little flake at right pierced ear hole. Marks: S 10 H 719 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model with wonderful expression, gleaming patina of complexion, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume.
