8.5" (22 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque baby torso, fretful expression with impressed frown eyes around the eyes and mouth, tiny blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with tiny pursed lips, brunette mohair wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs in bent position, antique baby dress. Condition: flake at high upper thigh. Marks: C. 1924 by E.I. Horsman Inc Made in Germany 44. Comments: Horsman, circa 1924, their model marketed as "Tynie Baby"; the doll was made with bisque head and cloth body, as all-composition, or in this rarest version of all-bisque. Value Points: rare model with wonderfully sculpted fretful expression.
