19" (48 cm). Bisque head with flanged neck, chubby facial shape, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark painted eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, dimpled chin, brunette mohair bobbed wig, muslin body and upper legs, composition arms and lower legs, nicely costumed in antique romper suit, shoes, hat, carrying Steiff duckling. Condition: generally excellent, some lines on composition of legs. Marks: Copr. by Grace C. Rockwell Germany 1392/40. Comments: rare model by the famous American illustrator, Grace Corry Rockwell, with wonderful endearing expression and choice bisque.
