Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, bright blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original muslin body with leather arms from elbows, antique gown (frail), undergarments, leather boots, bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Pierre- Francois Jumeau portrait model, circa 1875, the model is often found on a muslin stitch-jointed body such as this. Value Points: beautiful dreamy quality of face enhanced by lustrous patina of complexion.
