Bisque socket head with full rounded cheeks, painted blue upper glancing eyes, white eye dots, black and incised upper eyeliner, single stroke wide brows, accented nostrils and eye corners of rounded nose, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips,blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed in rose wool antique dress, undergarments, rose socks, rose and black leather saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 120. Comments: maker uncertain, possibly Max Friedrich Schelhorn who registered a 120 model with closed mouth and painted eyes in 1912. Value Points: rare model with most appealing gentle expression, lovely bisque and decoration, fine antique costume.
