Description
18" (46 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head, painted brown boyish hair with forelock curls, stuck-out ears, small blue glass sleep eyes, curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast pouty expression, very full cheeks, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Fany 230 A 7 M. Comments: Marseille, circa 1912. Value Points: superb example of the rare pouty character, having exemplary bisque and modeling, wonderful chubby toddler body, antique sailor costume.
