16" (41 cm). Solid domed bisque socket head, lightly painted tan baby hair, painted small grey eyes with heavy eyelids and thick black upper eyeliner, feathered arched brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, nice white woolen sailor costume, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 1/ 2 BSW (in heart) 2042. Comments: Bruno Schmidt, circa 1912. Value Points: very deeply sculpted laughter creases and dimples enhance the painted eye toddler.
