21" (53 cm). Pressed bisque swivel head with plump cheeks on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, almond-shaped blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body according to Bru deposed model, gusset-jointing of hips, elbows and knees, bisque forearms with sculpted hands, defined nails and knuckles, antique rose silk and lace dress, undergarments, stockings, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks 7 Bru (shoulders) (original Bebe Brevete paper label on front torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1879, the first model of his bebe to have original Bru deposed bebe body. Value Points: rare large size of the brevete model, enhanced by choicest bisque and painting, very sturdy and clean original body, beautifully sculpted hands.
