Description
25" (63 cm). Ebony-finished wooden day bed has black painted finish with gilded Chinoiserie decorations, center canopy with medallion and finial, and is fitted with burgundy silk and gold fringe and braid. The decorations include designs of Chinese women in kimonos watering flowers. French, circa 1885. A deluxe furniture with excellent detail of decoration is beautifully preserved.
