17" (43 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast expression, accent line between the pouty lips, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume includes plaid hooded cape, skirt, undergarments, socks, antique shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kley and Hahn 546 5 Germany. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: appealing wistful expression is beautifully rendered, fine quality bisque and modeling.
