Very pale pressed bisque shoulder head with rounded facial modeling, heavily lidded sculpted eye sockets, defined sculpting of chin and pointy nose, richly shaded painted blue eyes with glazed detail at pupils and lower irises, thick black upper eyeliner, thin black lower eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly painted brows, accented nostrils, sculpted philtrum, closed mouth modeled as though open with outlined lips and two rows of painted teeth teeth, sculpted unpierced ears, blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, original Huret gutta-percha depose body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, curled fingers, kid collarette. Condition: generally excellent, bisque choice, body very sturdy albeit few typical repairs. Value Points: notable at first sight for its modeled teeth, the very model Huret poupee also has extraordinary and unique sculpting around eyes, nose and chin. Extremely rare, it is believed to be the only existing example of this Huret model; it was featured on the cover of UFDC Doll News in Spring1997 issue and Theriault's Lady Dolls of the 19th Century. The poupee wears its original black taffeta gown with black bead trim, white batiste blouse, black velvet and lace cap, undergarments, stockings, and heeled slippers signed C.C.
