Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape and full cheeks, large dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, "dot" painted lashes, fringed and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth with shaded lips,blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body, lovely antique costume includes pinafore over beautifully accented blouse, undergarments, stockings, shoes, white woolen cape, white fur cap and muff. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Steiner Paris Fre C 15. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful quality of bisque with luminous patina enhances endearing child, original body and body finish, lovely costume.
