18" (46 cm). Bisque socket head with very elongated slender shape, pale bisque, mournful blue painted eyes, heavy eyelids with thick black upper eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, sharply pointed nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouty lips, white mohair fleecy wig, French slender wooden body with swivel waist, jointing at shoulder, elbows, wrists, hips and knees, metal hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Huret 2 (head) Huret 66 Rue de la Boetie (body). Comments: Prevost-Huret, circa 1905. Value Points: unusual expression complements the wonderful silk jester costume in magenta and ivory, decorated with gold bells and lace trim.
