15" (38 cm). Bisque socket head with elongated slender face of older child, painted brown eyes with heavily modeled eyelids, red and black upper eyeliner, one stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with richly shaded lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, slight nose rub. Marks: 150 S&H 0. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, one of the three models of their art character series. Value Points: unusually fine quality of modeling for this size, the handsome young man has original body and body finish, wears his original elaborate Scottish costume and tam.
