17" (43 cm). Solid domed pink-tinted bisque socket head, sculpted boyish light brown hair with forelock detail, modeled stuck-out ears, intaglio pale blue eyes with large black pupils and white bead eye dots, black and red upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, upturned rounded nose, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume (probably original) comprising white shirt under red flannel vest with gold buttons, matching cap, short pants, red stocks and leather sandals. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (in square) 35 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: an exceptionally rare model with artful details such as slightly side-glancing eyes, modeled stuck-out ears, eye crinkles, choicest bisque.
