Description
44" x 30" x 16" (112 x 76 x 41 cm). Walnut dollhouse with
natural finish has elaborate architectural style, hinged front that
opens in the middle, floor-to-ceiling paned windows and an
arched-top paneled door at the front decorated with bone
carved knobs, rounded attic eaves, a large square clock tower
with porcelain clock faces on three sides, and a tall watch tower.
There are two floors, four interior rooms, floor-to-ceiling
dormer windows, three fireplaces, center hallway on each floor
with connecting staircase, and doors that open from one room
to another, each with bone handles. The interior floors are
unfinished wood, and the walls are papered, probably not
original but of some age. The house is most unusual in design,
very attractive with interesting rooms, and in desirable
unrestored condition. English, 19th century.
