18" (46 cm). Bisque socket head with rounded face, painted blue upper glancing eyes, black and incised eyeliner with lightly painted upper lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open with outlined lips, row of painted teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 180 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: appealing expression on the rare to find character, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume.
