Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted short lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed in patterned silk dress, undergarments, leather shoes, socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9 B.M. Comments: Mothereau, circa 1886. Value Points: luminous large brown paperweight eyes lend a captivating expression to the rare model, very choice bisque, beautiful detail of mouth, original body and body finish.
