with very plump
and round facial modeling, large blue glass
paperweight inset
eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose
blushed eye
shadow, multi-feathered brows, small rounded
nose with
accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line
between the
lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork
pate, French
composition and wooden fully-jointed body with
loose-ball-
jointing, and distinctive metal hands, well
costumed in antique
velvet suit, white shirt with Buster Brown collar,
silk bow tie
ribbon, socks, leather shoes, velvet cap.
Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Petit & Dumoutier, circa
1882. Value
Points: very rare model in fine large size with
outstanding bisque
and modeling, dramatic eyes that contrast the
very pale bisque,
original rare body.
