Pressed bisque socket head with plump cheeks and chin, almond-shaped brown glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden fully-articulated body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles, wearing lovely antique rose and bronze green silk dress with lace trim, bonnet, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish albeit scuffed on hands. Marks: 3 (head) H36M34 (incised on body). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, Bebe Modele, with earliest bebe facial model, inspired by his earlier deposed poupee wooden body, was made from 1879 to 1883 only.
