design with
gilded finish, the doll's arm chair features tapestry
upholstered
seat and back. The chair was made by Maison
Huret, the family
of Adelaide Huret, circa 1860. Maison Huret
specialized in
people-sized furniture made in this style, and
Adelaide Huret
commissioned doll-sized models to match,
appropriately scaled
to her particular doll.
