Description
17" (43 cm). Pink tinted solid domed bisque socket head, painted brown boyish hair with sculpted curls at the forehead and nape, stuck-out sculpted ears, intaglio very narrow eyes as though squinting in laughter, red and black upper eyeliner, black pupils, white eye dots, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with sculpted space and two beaded lower teeth between the accented lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 7746 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare model with very impish expression enhanced by sculpted laughter crinkles around the eyes and chin, choice bisque and painting.
