15" (38 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils of upturned nose, closed mouth with very full outlined lips, defined philtrum and chin dimple, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in antique flowered dress, undergarments, leather shoes, fancy straw bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2033 BSW (in heart) 537. Comments: Bruno Schmidt of Walterhausen, their model known as Wendy, circa 1910. Value Points: the very rare model was made for one or two years only and few examples are known to exist, this being an appealing cabinet size with well defined character expression and choice bisque, original body and body finish, fine antique costume.
