13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with sculpted blonde side-parted hair in short boyish fashion, sculpted big ears, painted facial features, narrow blue squinting eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke arched brows, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, sculpted teeth with two amusing "missing teeth", muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Made in Germany ges 241 gesch 16/0. Comments: Gebruder Knoch, Germany, circa 1912. Value Points: delightful portrayal of young character boy with "gap-toothed" smile, oversized ears, and upturned nose.
