19" (48 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket head with sculpted light brown short curly hair in tousled manner, forelock details, blue side-glancing eyes with prominent black pupils and white eye dots, brushstroked brows, brown and incised eyeliner, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips, two modeled teeth, impressed dimple in the lower lip and cheeks, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique dress and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7956 Heubach (square) Germany (head) (Holz-masse symbol on back torso). Comments: Gebruder heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: the most captivating expression of the charmed little girl is enhanced by detail of sculpting so pronounced as to appear as though hand-sculpted, choicest bisque and painting, original signed body and body finish.
