Although the bebe has the signed body, spiral spring jointing and wooden neck bulb attachment of Danel & Cie, it is actually the Paris Bebe model made by Jumeau after he successfully won an infringement lawsuit against Danel & Cie in 1892. Jumeau utilized the remaining body stock of the Danel firm for his first Paris Bebes, as seen in this example.
