27" (68 cm). Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brush stroked brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully- jointed body. The doll is marked "Paris Bebe Tete Depose" on the head and the body. The doll is costumed as an elegant and dashing bridegroom in green velvet top coat, silk vest with brass buttons, shirt, bow tie, silk trousers, silk and kidskin boots, gloves, silk top hat and boutonniere, and is in excellent original condition. French, Jumeau, circa 1892.
