The doll wears her couturier original ivory silk satin gown with gore-shaped shirt, fitted bodice with plisse organza plastron and sous-sleeves, very beautiful lace undergarments, stockings, white kid shoes, and a wax- orange blossom coronet and tulle veil. The doll is marked "S&H Dep 1159 11" on the head, and "EDB" on the body along with signed "La Patricienne", the trademark of Daspres. The shoes are stamped A La Providence, indicating the boutique from which the doll was sold. French, Steiner succ., circa 1905.
