19" (48 cm). Pressed bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket attached to bisque shoulder head by metal pin at cork pate, allowing head to pivot only side to side, cobalt blue enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with accented lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid body with plump torso in Rohmer fashion, paper mache arms from above the elbows, wooden ball knee joints. The doll is costumed as a bride with delicate tulle over ivory silk gown, undergarments, tulle veil with pearl coronet, pearl necklace. Attributed to Rohmer, circa 1867, a rare portrait model by that firm with exquisite beauty in superb condition.
