Description
17" x 11" (43 x 28 cm). A red velvet cushion is surrounded by a bounty of 22-karat gold-plated symbols including many lime tree leaves symbolizing faithfulness, an unusual design of marguerite against a leaf background and a dove with wreath of harmony. There are two mirrors. Upon the cushion is an unusual bridal coronet consisting of bands of tiny orange blossoms centered by a pearl circlet for the forehead. The entire arrangement rests upon a wooden base with marquetry (some damages) under a glass dome. A vintage photograph of a 1920's couple, the bride with similar coronet, is included.
