Description
5 1/2" x 7" (14 x 18 cm). An elegant vitrine box with curved glass front and side, beveled lid, and gilded-metal frame with rose garlands and paw feet, has a tufted velvet interior base and a latch catch. Stored inside are objects from the bride's early marriage including her wax orange blossom spray, two decorative hair combs, hand-painted porcelain portrait of 18th century lady, and an antique photograph. French, circa 1890.
