Description
6" x 6" (15 x 15 cm) box. A beautiful wooden presentation box with rounded edges and textured linen-like finish is decorated with ivory silk satin ribbons and brass ormolu decorations and handle. It opens to reveal a well-fitted interior comprising two cards with originally attached trousseau including dresses as well as lingerie, a small bisque doll with wedding gown, veil and bouquet, and a myriad of tiny accessories ranging from cologne to soap to brushes. The presentation box was commissioned by luxury Paris boutique, circa 1900, and retains its superb original unplayed with condition. French, circa 1910.
