A green velvet-over-board frame in pleasing basket shape is decorated with very fancy gold-plated borders, raised-design stars, and centers a cream velvet tufted cushion with daisy buttons. Posed upon the cushion are a small all-bisque bride and groom in their original costumes including boutonniere on the groom. A bride's coronet of wax orange blossoms rests upon the cushion. There are two unusually- shaped mirrors at the back, and the "basket handle" is decorated with roses and daisies that are made of hand-pressed and painted bisque. The daisies are pink-tinged with yellow centers and represent love in the marriage. The arrangement sits upon its original oval wooden base with blown glass globe. French, circa 1900.
