16" x 12" (41 x 30 cm). A simple yet elegant presentation features a red velvet covered cushion surmounted by a rectangular beveled-edge mirror with hand-painted flowers, and a bounty of gold-plated symbols: 12 ivy leaves signifying attachment, nine daisies, and a winged dove. There are two white bisque hand-pressed roses, rose petals, and bisque bellflowers. Resting upon the cushion is a beautiful bridal coronet of wax orange blossoms, along with the bride's silk-woven gloves. The entire nostalgic arrangement is preserved on its ebony-finished wooden base with glass dome. French, circa 1910.
