Description
18" x 13" (46 x 33 cm). An oval plaque with maroon velvet cover is encircled by a spiraled vine with seven clusters of grapes, and seven maple leaves. At the top is a kingfisher bird. Arranged on the velvet is a lovely petal shaped wedding cap of wire-framed tulle with wax orange blossom edging. The arrangement is on ebony- finished wooden base under a glass dome. French, circa 1910.
