Description
16" x 12" (41 x 30 cm). A beautifully detailed presentation features a centering rose silk tufted cushion with gilded filigree frame encircled by a myriad of gold-plated symbols, most notably 24 crab apple leaves with well detailed veining,10 daisies, and a large winged dove with wreath of harmony. There is a central oval mirror and three rectangular mirrors. Posed on the cushion is a feathered bird, bird nest, and red silk roses. The bride's embroidered tulle veil is attached. An intriguing smaller globe with rare crab apple symbols and mysterious personal memento. The arrangement is on its original ebony- finished wooden base with glass dome. French, circa 1900.
