Description
15" x 12" (35 x 31 cm). A purple velvet cushion with cord edging and metallic tassel drops at each corner is resting upon a very rich Eiffel Tower shaped base with bronze-like finish, rich bead and garland decorations, along with fancifully shaped floral and geometric designs that center an oval beveled mirror. Resting upon the cushion is the bride's wax orange blossom coronet with gilded metal ribbon at the crest, along with four matching decorations for the gown. The royalty-like presentation is posed upon an ebony-finished wooden base with four- sided glass dome (repaired at one side). French, circa 1890.
