Arranged upon a red velvet tufted cushion with fancy filigree edging is an unusual bride's coronet of white silk roses and cascades of snowdrop flowers designed to decorate the hair. A bisque doll with lace wedding gown and coronet is posed upon the cushion. At the back is a six-sided mirror having hand-painted designs, a winged dove with wreath of harmony, ten banquets of flowers, one marguerite, four cherry tree leaves with clusters of cherries, four chestnut tree leaves symbolizing links to each other and to others, and various scrolls. There is one rectangular mirror at the base, and further decoration includes a harmonious sprinkling of hand-pressed and painted bisque flowers.
