Description
20" x 24" (51 x 61 cm). A red velvet-lined shadowbox with blue and cream edging, presents an elaborate wax orange blossom coronet having cascading ringlets, with matching orange blossom decoration centered by a cross of glass beads between the orange blossom bud-formed letters "P P". There is also a heart-shaped orange blossom ornament, and finally there is a silk woven wide sash with gold metallic braid and the gold letters "P P". The historical background of the unusual wedding memorabilia is unknown. French, circa 1890.
