22" x 13" (56 x 33 cm). An elaborate presentation of 22-karat gold plate symbols arranged around a red silk tufted cushion includes seven mirrors of various shapes centered by a six-sided central mirror with hand-painted designs back by embroidered lace tulle. The gilded symbols include 15 daisies, 16 oak leaves, and a dove with wreath of harmony. Placed upon the cushion is a magnificent coronet of waxed orange blossoms and tiny petals, the style known as "retombee" and designed to sit atop the head, and with attached necklace that falls below, framing the face in an elegant manner. Also included is an elaborate orange blossom ornament for the wedding gown, and several small sprays. The presentation is resting upon ebony-finished wooden base with glass dome. French, circa 1890.
